“Root to Rise” is a grounding yoga practice designed to help you find stability in both your body and mind. In this class, we’ll focus on poses that connect you to the earth, strengthen your foundation, and encourage a sense of inner calm and resilience.

You’ll explore standing postures like Warrior II, Tree Pose, and Chair Pose—each carefully guided to help you feel rooted and supported. As we work through these movements, you’ll learn how to activate the muscles in your legs and core to create physical balance, while deepening your breath to support emotional stability.

This class is perfect for anyone feeling scattered, anxious, or simply seeking a steady, strong flow that isn’t overly fast-paced. The slower tempo allows time for alignment, breath awareness, and mindfulness, helping you stay fully present throughout the session.

We’ll also incorporate grounding breathwork (such as Ujjayi or deep belly breathing) and short moments of stillness to help regulate the nervous system. These tools support mental clarity and emotional steadiness, leaving you feeling calm and focused both on and off the mat.

This is an all-levels class, but especially beneficial for beginners or anyone wanting to slow down and reconnect with their center. Modifications and props will be offered throughout to help you meet your body where it’s at.

By the end of the session, you’ll feel more grounded, balanced, and in control—ready to “rise” into your day or week with strength and intention.
