Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets the deep connective tissues—such as fascia, ligaments, and joints—rather than muscles. Poses are held passively for 3 to 5 minutes or longer, allowing time for the body to gradually release tension and for the mind to turn inward.
This quiet, grounding style supports flexibility, joint health, and emotional balance. Yin Yoga complements more active forms of yoga or fitness by offering space for stillness, breath awareness, and deep release.
What to Expect:
-
Long-held, floor-based poses
-
Deep stretching without muscular effort
-
A meditative atmosphere and inward focus
-
Minimal movement and no standing sequences
-
Focus on hips, spine, and lower body
